The situation regarding the red threads is still uncertain. While the pain does indeed lessen when a person locates the entity on the other end, unfortunately the length of the string shortens to about half a meter. A method to remove the thread is still unclear.

Despite cultural significance, there's no evidence to support the theory that there is some emotional connection between the two people conjoined.

A kidnapping every two weeks and we're no closer to finding the culprit now than we were in August.

I understand it's important not to get discouraged, however with our behavior at this point fails to prevent any further kidnappings..

Souji is back with us. Thanks to everyone for their concern.

I believe the culprit who took sempai did so with knowledge of our previous involvement. With that in mind, my current theory is that his kidnapping was intended to observe the rescue process first hand, rather than actually harm him.

But until I collect more evidence, I will have to warn citizens against venturing out alone- in case my hypothesis is incorrect and the attacker is targeting people indiscriminately.

What is a good meal for someone with a hangover?

Investigations today were put on hold as certain incidents at school required my attention. Unfortunately, the school system here is hardly challenging, and at times my classmates appear unruly and perhaps violent? More insight will be needed to fully grasp the situation. I have been made aware of private academies, however I am hesitant to transfer out of the system senpai and the others have enrolled themselves in. To be together again.. It's important I remain close. If necessary I will provide myself more challenging studies in my free time. If there is any danger from my peers I am perfectly capable of defending myself..

.. Although I must admit the girls in this school system are a great deal more.. hostile than they were in Inaba.. That language is entirely unnecessary. I understand it might be best to correct these mistakes as not to mislead others.. But for girls to act so unforgivably snide just because they possess particularly coveted attributes.. I don't see it as being dishonest, perhaps such arrogant and insensitive people should be more observant!

... also I do not take well to nicknames! .. ah well, only "The Detective Prince" was hardly a nickname, I'm not saying I want to abandon that as well.. detective princess sounds wholly ridiculous however



Earlier today I called Grampa. We discussed the possibility of acquiring a larger suite here in the hotel, capable of housing two people.

I'm not sure why I even bothered mentioning it, as there didn't seem to be much interest in the idea amongst the others. However, if Yosuke-senpai's family is inconvenienced by having so many guests I would like to help in some way. I'm sure one can't expect Kanji to have the funds to stay in a hotel for very long, and it would be unfortunate for him to leave so soon.

Still, Grampa said he would have Yakushiji wire over additional funds immediately. He seemed oddly enthusiastic about the whole thing... I wonder what this could mean.
